Lots of benefits for Uber Eats & Uber

Ride discounts: 6% Uber Cash back

The 6% discount on eligible Uber Rides is paid as Uber Cash back, which you can use for future Uber rides or Uber Eats orders.

In the past, the rides discount was 5% discount off the price of the ride. Now, you have to spend your discount inside the Uber ecosystem.

Latest Arrival credit: $5 if your order arrives after the Latest Arrival estimate

Another Uber One perk for Uber Eats users is the Latest Arrival credit, which offers $5 in Uber Cash if your order arrives after the Latest Arrival estimate.

You can use the Uber Cash on future rides or Uber Eats orders. But there is one downside: The credit expires after your Uber One membership ends.

How much do you have to spend to make Uber One worth it?

If you’re mainly a rideshare user, Uber One will start to pay for itself if you typically spend around $165 a month on rides.

But remember, the 6% discount on rides is paid in Uber Cash. You can only use Uber Cash for future Uber rides and Uber Eats deliveries.

If you’re a frequent Uber Eats users, Uber One will pay for itself faster. With $0 delivery fees and the 10% discounts, savings will add up faster. Delivery fees are typically $0.50–$5.99.

Is Lyft Pink worth it?

Lyft Pink is a good value for Lyft users who spend more than $200 per month on Lyft, and for users who frequently take advantage of the Grubhub benefits.

The 5% ride discount pays covers the cost of the $9.99 membership fee after you spend $200 on rides. But the other benefits can quickly add up as well.

Priority Pickup is worth a few dollars per ride, and the flexibility of relaxed cancellations is a big benefit for users who don’t want to worry about getting nickeled-and-dimed by cancel fees.

Which is better, Uber One or Lyft Pink?

Lyft Pink has a longer list of benefits, but Uber One is overall a better value if you frequently use Uber Eats.

But if you’re a heavy rideshare user and don’t order food deliveries very often, Lyft Pink is probably best for you.

If you order a lot of Uber Eats and also do Uber rides every now and then, Uber One is likely the better deal.
