By Doug H, Updated January 13, 2026 2 Comments

Love the information you have here.

Lyft won’t let me drive in VT as my vehicle is a 2014 and Lyft claims VT requires 10 years or newer vehicle age. I sent them a copy of their own website showing up to 15 years old is valid. They said they would fix the website. I asked for a copy of the source document showing the requirements to no avail. Would you be willing to share your source for the information you show for VT vehicle age?

I thank you in advance for your consideration.

This page at Lyft.com says they accept 2010 or newer. Just note that the article you commented on is for Uber, which may have a different requirement.
