Phone support for Amazon Flex drivers: How to call Amazon Flex customer service

Updated March 14, 2022 By Doug H2 Comments

Amazon makes it easy for Flex delivery drivers to call support while you’re out on a delivery.

But when you aren’t doing deliveries, there used to be no way to call Amazon—Your only option was to email.

Amazon Flex now has a phone support number that you can reach even when you’re not on a delivery.

The Amazon Flex phone support number is: 888-281-6906

The phone support line is helpful if you need to talk to Amazon about an issue that doesn’t involve a live delivery. Amazon recommends calling support about application issues and app issues.

This phone support line is for: Application questions, background check questions, and app issues.

When to call Amazon Flex support

Now that Amazon Flex has a phone line for offline drivers—888-281-6906—you might want to call in for every issue. But the new number is only intended for certain purposes.

Call Amazon Flex support about:

  • Application issues
  • Selecting regions
  • Waitlists for new drivers
  • Background check status
  • App issues: Can’t access account, can’t upload documents

It seems like the phone support line is mainly intended for prospective drivers who need help getting started and for drivers who are stuck with app issues.

If you call Amazon about other issues, you might not get the help you need.

You might spend time waiting on hold only to be told that you should email Amazon about the issue. Or that Amazon support will create a ticket and get back to you later via email.

When it’s better to email Amazon support

The phone support line isn’t intended for all Flex driver issues. It’s still better to email Amazon about many other issues, like earnings and ratings.

Email Amazon about:

  • Payment and earnings
  • Standings, ratings
  • General questions

It’s best to email Amazon if your issue falls into the category above. If you call the phone support line about, you aren’t going to get immediate help.

Amazon will refer you to the email address or create a ticket about your issue and get back to you later.

On a live delivery? Use the in-app support options

If you’re on a live delivery, the phone support number on this page isn’t for you. Instead, use the in-app contact options to call Amazon.

How to call Amazon during a live delivery: Use the Help menu in the upper-right corner of the app to call the customer or Amazon support.

The support agents on the in-app phone line can deal with live delivery issues like: Unable to access a building, the customer is unreachable, no safe drop-off location, no gate code, etc.

I have a question to ask. Whenever I open my app it takes me directly to a page saying no deliveries available at this time. My app doesn’t even show home, signout, earning tab as well. What should I do to fix this?
